Girls basketball ended with a win in the A1 tournament beating Westridge and Hocker Grove! The score was 23-26 against Hocker. The A team’s record was 7-1 in the regular season, B team’s was 4-4, and C team’s was 6-2. The players in the A tournament were Isabelle Beltram (7), Maddie Donohue (8), Harper Grindinger (8), Amara Jehle (8), Leah Kroening (8), Nora Lynn (8), Maggie Myers (8), Campbell Rigsby (7), Elle Rolofson (8), and Bikely Walsh (7). “Shooting guard”
Q: What was your favorite part of this season?
“Winning the championship and making friends”
Q: What quality of someone on the team was most helpful to you in a stressful situation?
“Probably when someone can lighten the mood while still being serious and talking about the game.”
Q: What was your favorite drill you ran in practice?
“It has to be a tie between 6 line layups and the pump fake drill.”
Q: What is one thing you will miss about this season?
“Being able to see people after school that I don’t have time to during the day”
Q: Do you like free throws or layups more?
“Layups because I can make those”
