Thank our amazing coaches; Coach Laudemann, Coach Heinzlman, and Coach Westerman.
We asked a player from this year’s volleyball team some questions about the season. Here’s the questions and answers from the interview with Harper Grindinger.
Q: What position do you play?
“I’m a middle hitter”
Q: What was your favorite part of this season?
“The friends I made along the way”
Q: What quality of someone on the team was most helpful to you in a stressful situation?
“It was great to have communication because without communication there can’t be a good flow on the court, someone always needs to step up and take leadership to help make everything else fall in line.”
Q: What was your favorite drill you ran in practice?
“I’m a big fan of short court queens because it works on control and ball IQ.”
Q: What is one thing you will miss about this season?
I miss the fun couple minutes before practice in the locker room when we all just bonded and made TikTok’s together.”
Q: What inspired you to play volleyball?
“Probably just the fact I’m giant and can block and get off the ground to hit easier. Or the fact that my mom played.”
